While the opposition extended full support to the government over Operation Sindoor, which decimated 9 terror camps in Pakistan, a few deets have been missing, especially the most important one—how many terrorists were killed? As per the sources during the recently held all-party meeting, India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh claimed that 100 terrorists were neutralized by the military action. Per reports, the government does not wish to further escalate unless Pakistan engages in provocative actions.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju stated that the opposition remained cordial and did not engage in bickering during the brief. Speaking with the reporters, Congress veteran Mallikarjun Kharge remarked that the government stated some information needs to be confidential. Kharge added that the opposition is on the same page as the government.
Operation Sindoor was a calibrated 25-minute surgical strike that destroyed 9 terror camps using precision weaponry, including the SCALP missiles and HAMMER bombs. The operation was carried out to avenge the massacre of 26 tourists in Pahalgam by the hands of terrorists who spared the women while shooting the men.

Reactions poured in, with netizens demanding concrete proof of the kill, along with names and terror outfits. One user online remarked, “Itna exaggerate nahi karna tha! Ab operation Sindoor ko vote bank ke liye use kar rahe politicians.” “Zyada bol diye,” jibed another. Yet another user quipped, “Here goes the barrage of lies and grandstanding after zero accountability for the 28 + 20 deaths in Poonch.” One more user questioned,
“Why was this number not shared in the defence briefing?”
Meanwhile, the internet demanded action on Pakistan’s cross-border shelling in Poonch that killed 15 civilians, including 4 children. “Is this not provocative enough?” the internet asked.
